The Green House is a beautifully restored, 32-room Grade II Victorian villa in the heart of Bournemouth. It’s ideally positioned a few minutes from the beach, with fast, easy access to road and rail connections. With its elegant, calm interior and setting, The Green House is a fitting venue for funeral teas, wakes and memorial parties. We have three main areas to choose from, each with a different character and quality. All are fully accessible, have a licensed bar and an attentive, dedicated team who will be sympathetic to your requirements.

Arbor
Our 2 rosette restaurant, with huge bay windows overlooking the grounds. Suitable for an afternoon gathering of up to 100 guests.

The Old Ballroom
A large events room with a private bar, separate from the main hotel areas, which provides a private, versatile space for up to 100 guests.

The Green House Bar
A tastefully decorated room offering an informal space for gatherings of up to 35 guests.

Hire of any space includes complimentary car parking, wifi, & still and sparking water. The hotel is fully accessible with a lift serving all floors and there’s a private entrance so your guests won’t have to walk through the main hotel reception. Guests can stay overnight – we have 32 rooms available. All food, from finger buffets to a la carte, is of exceptional quality with a strong emphasis on high quality local produce, memorable flavours and ultra-fresh, seasonal ingredients. We can be very flexible catering for your guests and meeting your wishes for the day.

We’re only a short drive away from Bournemouth Crematorium, easy to find with plenty of free parking for your guests.
